Day 5

Moremi Game Reserve
The Moremi Game Reserve is situated in the eastern part of the Okavango Delta, on the south-western border of the Chobe National Park, and covers almost one-third of the Delta. With such a wide variety of vegetation comes a diverse spectrum of wildlife. The reserve is home to over 400 bird species, including the African Fish Eagle, the Crested Crane and the Sacred Ibis. This wide variety of mammal, bird, insect, plant, fish and reptile species have successfully adapted to the swamp conditions. During the dry season, the congregation of all species along permanent rivers and waterholes makes Moremi Game Reserve one of Africa's most unforgettable wildlife experiences.
Day 6

Moremi Game Reserve
The Camp Moremi team of experienced professional guides will introduce you to a whole new world of wildlife. Watch a Leopard stretched out lazily in the branches of a Mopane tree, herds of elephants grazing under a canopy of green or a pride of Lions camouflaged in the long grass. Moremi Game Reserve’s incredible wetlands support many antelope, including Impala, Kudu and Waterbuck. Birdlife is prolific, and the majestic Fish Eagle and vivid Malachite Kingfisher are frequently seen. Even the rare Pel’s Fishing Owl makes an occasional appearance to the delight of guides and guests alike.
Day 7

Moremi - Okavango Delta
Enjoy a final morning game drive in the Moremi Game Reserve before your light aircraft transfer to Camp Okavango, a remote lodge on a private concession in the heart of the Okavango Delta. Built in 1982, Camp Okavango is one of the original safari camps on the Okavango Delta. Now rebuilt as an all-new luxury safari lodge, Camp Okavango is the perfect base to experience the Okavango Delta. Here you will spend the next two nights exploring the intricacies of the Okavango Delta from a variety of activities, including mokoro excursions, boating safaris and guided bush walks.
* Package Bonus: Your honeymoon package includes a 60-minute helicopter scenic flight over the Okavango Delta, including a private romantic champagne sundowner on a remote island in the delta. You'll also have the option to enjoy a romantic night sleeping under the stars on the sleep out deck at Camp Okavango.

Camp Okavango (2 nights)

There are eleven intimate Safari suites and one Family suite consisting of two bedrooms and each with an en-suite bathroom. Each of the guest suites have been built on individual raised wooden platforms and set beneath the thick Okavango Delta vegetation. The en-suite bathrooms have double vanities, double shower and a separate water closet (with a view). The stack away sliding doors open onto a private open-air viewing deck offering beautiful views over the Okavango Delta.
Day 8

Okavango Delta
Described as ‘the jewel of the Kalahari’, the Okavango Delta – a tranquil and isolated oasis set in the harsh and arid surroundings of Botswana’s bush and desert – is widely regarded as one of Africa’s best safari destinations, with its rich diversity of fauna and flora. The Delta’s floods are fed by the Angolan rains, which start in October. The floods cross the border between Namibia and Botswana at Mohembo in December and reach Maun only in July. The Okavango River never reaches the sea but flows south-eastwards into the Kalahari. Here it spreads out into a delta formation – a lush water-wilderness of papyrus swamps, shallow reed-beds and floodplains, dotted with islands and laced with a network of channels and lagoons. A mokoro safari is a definite ‘must do’ for all guests visiting the Okavango Delta. Traditional 4×4 game-viewing vehicles are used on the main island. Walking safaris are very popular in the Delta. The feeling of being on foot in Africa’s wilderness, exploring flora and fauna, is remarkable.
Day 9

Okavango Delta - Boteti River Valley
The final stop of your honeymoon package is Leroo La Tau. Catch a light aircraft from Camp Okavango to Leroo La Tau before transferring by road to the lodge, set on the banks of the Boteti River, overlooking the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park. You will spend the next two nights at Leroo La Tau enjoying daily game drives along the Boteti River to witness the prolific wildlife that frequent the region. Optional excursions to the nearby Khumaga village offers a chance to experience Botswana's unique culture.

Leroo La Tau (2 nights)
Leroo La Tau is situated on the western bank of the Boteti River, which forms the boundary of the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park. The Boteti River provides a lifeline for the wildlife which inhabit the arid national park and is a critical link in the annual zebra migration. Leroo La Tau is the perfect base from which to explore this truly unique piece of Botswana paradise. The lodge features twelve luxurious thatched and glass-fronted suites with en-suite bathrooms, each unit raised on a wooden platform overlooking the Boteti River Valley below. The main lounge and dining area, with its inviting wooden and thatch finish, allows you to relax at the bar while listening to the wide variety of night sounds so characteristic of the African bush. Alternatively you can lounge around the swimming pool or enjoy the panoramic river vista from the game-viewing hide built into the bank of the river.
Day 10

Boteti River Valley
The Makgadikgadi Pans National park includes a portion of the 12000km2 Makgadikgadi Pans. This massive pan was once believed to be the bed of an enormous inland lake. Owing to the arid nature of the park, the Boteti river and the nutrient-rich western grasslands supply the essential water and sustenance for the wildlife that inhabit the region. This dramatic landscape is the backdrop for the second-largest zebra migration in the world, where thousands of zebra migrate to the Boteti River in the dry winter months (May to Oct) from their summer grazing ground further inside the park. The contrast between the Boteti River Valley and the arid National Park makes it a fascinating region to include in a Botswana safari.
* Package Bonus: The staff at Leroo La Tau and members of the Khumaga community will perform a traditional Setswana blessing as your farewell gift.
Day 11

Day of Departure
After your two-night stay at Leroo la Tau you will be transferred by light aircraft to Maun for your onward journey.
This itinerary can also be booked to start in Maun and end in Kasane, with a Victoria Falls extension.
